Our dedicated team only contains keen golfers who understand the importance of having the right kit when it is needed. We hope that you will find our products and service exactly as you want them but should you find any aspect of our performance not to your expectations please do not hesitate to contact us.
If possible please email us in the first instance with the nature of your query and your preferred contact details as we find this enables us to investigate and get back to you in the shortest possible time.
Purchase of products
Orders can be accepted for UK mainland, Northern Ireland and some European addresses (see following limitation for European addresses). Orders for non UK European addresses are supplied with UK warranty only. In the event of a warranty claim purchasers will need to return products to the UK at their own cost regardless of whether the warranty claim is successful or not.
The price to pay for the products being purchased is shown in your shopping cart upon checkout. All prices shown are inclusive of any applicable VAT and any delivery charges applicable will be clearly set out. In accordance with HMRC guidance we do not provide VAT invoices and VAT cannot be claimed back in respect of goods sold by us that are not classed as new. Via either PayPal or the Sage pay secure payment system we accept Visa, MasterCard and debit cards.
You must be 18 years old to purchase products from us.
On receipt of payment through either PayPal or the Sagepay secure payment service we will confirm acceptance of your order by email. This email confirmation is our acceptance of your order and creates a legally binding contact between us. Our contact shall be on the terms as set out here to the exclusion of all other terms and conditions, including any terms and conditions that are purported to be included or applied by any other party than golftrolleyshop.com.
We reserve the right not to supply products at our discretion. Title to the products purchased on this website will pass to you on delivery provided that we have received payment in full for the products.
Trade-in of trolleys
To start the trade in process you must complete the simple online steps on the 'Trade-in' page of this website to get a quote for your trolley.
You warrant to us that the condition is as described and that you are the lawful owner of the trolley and are free to sell it to us.
Following completion of a Trade-in request by 6.00pm we will by 9.00am the following day send you an email with a trade-in valuation. If you accept this valuation then you should follow the instructions in the email to purchase your new trolley within 5 working days. Only once we have accepted your order to buy a new trolley will a contract exist between us.
In the unlikely event our courier cannot arrange with you and successfully collect from you your trade-in trolley for any reason within 7 working days from the date of delivery of your new trolley being sent we reserve the right to charge you an administration fee of £15 (including VAT) and will then withdraw our offer to trade-in your trolley.
Upon receipt of your trolley at our facility we will verify the condition is as described and test the unit within 3 working days. We will issue a credit for the agreed valuation less shipping costs of £15 (including VAT) within 7 working days for trolleys meeting the condition and working criteria agreed.
In the few occasions where trolleys do not conform to the stated condition we will advise you by email within 3 working days from receipt of the trolley at our facility. We will then set out in this email our final valuation stating clearly and fairly why the condition is not as initially declared. You will then have the option to accept this final valuation by replying to the email as indicated or of having the trolley returned to you at a charge of £15 (including VAT) to cover shipping costs. We will return trolleys within 7 working days of receipt of a cheque made payable to Golftrolleyshop in respect of the return shipping charge. If we have not received your cheque within 10 working days from the date of our email we will send a reminder email within 12 days. If we have not received your cheque within 15 working days then we will assume you have accepted our final valuation and send you a cheque accordingly which will conclude the transaction between us.
Delivery and handling
All our products will be inspected before dispatch. All orders received before 3.00pm on the day of purchase (excluding weekends and bank holidays) will usually be dispatched for delivery within 2 working days.
In the unlikely event of there being a delay we will contact you whether by email or by telephone on your contact number. As normal deliveries are between 9.00am and 5.00pm weekdays, it may be more suitable to supply us with your work address for delivery, as the courier will require a valid signature on delivery.
All delivery charges applicable are clearly shown at the time of checking out. Most accessories and all new trolleys are shipped free of charge but in accordance with golf industry practice for reconditioned trolleys and some other heavier items a shipping charge is payable. Typically for UK mainland destinations this charge for an electric trolley is £15 including any applicable VAT.
Cancellation and returns
After 7 days from the date of delivery, returns will only be accepted on new products within warranty.
The company warrants that all products are of satisfactory quality. Our liability under this warranty shall be limited to repairing the product, replacing the product or of refunding the price of the product at our discretion.
Whilst every care is taken to recondition, test and prepare our second hand products, all second hand products are 'sold as seen' and no warranty is provided by the relevant manufacturer unless explicitly stated in the product description. We provide a limited 3 month parts and labour warranty on our second hand trolleys under which we will repair, replace or refund the price of the product at our discretion. You will be responsible for any courier costs but we will arrange the courier for you.
Any manufactures warranty applicable to new or used products is stated within the product description and is provided by the manufacturer.
As with any large, heavy or electrical products care needs to be taken to ensure that the appropriate handling and use precautions are observed. In either selling to or buying product from golftrolleyshop.com you agree that you will observe the safety guidelines set out by the original manufacturer of the equipment. In some cases with our used sales some product will be supplied without the original manufacturer manual of operation. In these cases prior to assembling or operating the product in any way you should refer to the online manuals and guidance provided by the relevant manufacturer.

If either party is subject to an event of Force Majeure, that is circumstances outside its reasonable control, including to but limited to war, fire, industrial disputes or civil commotion, it shall notify the other and the first party's obligations under these terms shall be suspended until it notifies the other party of the end of such an event.
